Hua-Yu Sebastian Cherng:
Hua-Yu Sebastian Cherng was born and raised near Washington , D.C. and earned his degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Brain and Cognitive Sciences, Management Sciences (Marketing) and Education. While at MIT, Sebastian also earned his teaching license in biology (secondary education) for the state of Massachusetts with a focus on curriculum design. Having over seven years of teaching and tutoring in a wide range of subjects and students, Sebastian is pleased to advise iSpeak on its innovative teaching curriculum.

John Gu:
John Gu was born in Guiyang , the capital city of Guizhou province located in southern central China . John immigrated to the U.S. in 1988, and eventually attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he earned degrees in Computer Science, Management Sciences (Marketing), Economics, and Mathematics. Having been the fortunate student of many outstanding teachers in his life, John is keenly aware of the impact made by a passionate teacher who is not afraid to engage and challenge the students. As such, John is very excited to advise iSpeak on its curriculum and marketing.
